Outside the mainstream

In this section we list sites which appear to us to be "suspicious" in that:
  • They may make claims which conventional medical practitioners may feel are unjustified
  • They may not be completely honest about their interests etc.

Basically, its buyer beware.

I would be delighted to be proved wrong about any of these sites; I regret putting into this special section, but that's better than not covering them at all.

Treatments
The Parkinson's Disease Treatment Center
Using Asian medcine (Tuina and Acupuncture) to treat Parkinson's. I'm all for Asian medcine and other alternative treatments. They claim to have had really dramatic effects with some patients. I'm sure they are well meaning and honest. However, until I see the Parkinson's establishment raving about a cure, I will remain respectfully sceptical of anyone who claims to be able to reverse PD, to the extent of not needing drugs any more.
